Sarah’s material comes from a wide variety of sources, including folk stories from Britain, Europe, and the Middle East. Specialist areas include Anglo-Saxon epics and riddles, Finland and the Arctic Circle, and the Silk Road. Over the years Sarah has uncovered a wealth of long-forgotten stories; many originally recorded by Victorian collectors, only to be considered too wayward for common consumption and buried in dusty archives again.
